- Headlights - The first light is aimed straight forward and serves as my “be seen” light, the second is aimed low and serves as my “to see” light.
- Tail Light - The first is on the bike and a second can be run on the back of a helmet.
- Fenders -These will keep you dry from all of the water coming off your wheels.
- Mud Flap - Most fenders come with a mud flap but larger mudflaps are available.
- Rain Cover - These are a necessity if you are not using dry bag style panniers
- Saddle Cover – If you’re running a Brooks saddle, a must-have item. but great for when you bike is parked in the rain.
- Chain Guard - This will keep your long pants out of the chain. You can also use a pant clip or Velcro strap to keep your pants hole free.
- Bell – Bells are the most under-rated bike accessory, particularly if you ride multi-use paths like the Larry Scott Trail.
- Water Bottle – Don’t forget to hydrate in the winter too!
- Bag – For carrying a spare tube, multi-tool, etc. This could be a handlebar or seat bag.
And last but certainly not least we would like to thank all of our customers for another great year of riding. We hope we can be there for all of you for many years to come.
Cheers
The Broken Spoke Staff.
