Just arrived at the shop are the 2012 Rumblefish Elite and Remedy 8. The Rumblefish is a 29er trail bike with 140 mm of Fox DRCV travel front and rear. The Remedy is Trek's tried and true technical trail bike sporting 150mm of DRCV travel front and rear. Shimano SLX takes care of the shifting and stopping on both bikes.Weighing a hair over 31 lbs with pedals the Rumblefish lives up the 29er reputation of monster trucking over roots while the G2 geometry keeps the handling lively. Pointing and shooting over roots and rocks the Rumblefish sails along smoothly.
Trek continues to improve on the Remedy adding DRCV to the fork, slacking out the head tube by a degree and adding a mino link. The head tube angle can now be adjusted between a slack 67 or a faster steering 67.5. A quiver of one the Remedy weighs in at just under 31 lbs with pedals.
