PT Trails volunteers will
gather to establish a connector trail on the Sherman Street Right-of-way
between Hastings and 29th Streets. The trail work day will be held
on Saturday, June 14th, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
This trail segment will establish a missing link
in connectivity between the trails systems to the north in Cappys Woods and 35th
Street Park and the north-south trail corridor along Hancock and Sherman
Right-of-ways. Anyone wishing to help should meet advisory board
members at the
intersection of Sherman and 29th Streets. Best parking is along 29th
Street (one block north of Hastings) west of Hendricks. Please bring: loppers,
clippers, hand saws and work gloves and dress for bushwacking; we will work
rain or shine. Snacks and water will be provided. A map is attached for your information.
