Poulsbo Viking Tour's Poker Run

We're having a Poker Run!
We've decided to mix things up a bit at the
2017 Viking Tour. Instead of having a Time Trial in which only elite
cyclists can have a realistic chance of winning, we are having a Poker
Run that everybody has an equal chance of winning!
Here is how it works:
The object is to have the best poker hand at the end of the ride. Having
the best hand and winning is purely a matter of chance. All riders who
want to participate will collect 5 playing cards to make a poker hand
over the course of the ride. Riders collect the 5 playing cards as
follows:
All riders will receive one card at the start.
Freyja (15 mile) riders will collect 3 cards at rest stop #1, and one card at the finish.
Thor (30 mile) riders will collect 2 cards at rest stop #1, one card at rest stop #2, and one card at the finish.
Odin (60 mile) riders will collect 1 card at rest stop #1, one card
at rest stop #2, one card at rest stop #3, and one card at the finish.
Each rider will turn their cards in at the designated location at the
finish where their poker hand will be scored. Poker hand scoring will be
as shown on page two. Because we are using multiple card decks, hands
with “Five of a Kind” are possible, but will be scored as “Four of a
Kind”. Prizes will be awarded to the three highest hands, regardless of
route ridden.
